Every rhokea piece is built from implant-grade titanium (ASTM F136), the same material used in medical implants and applications. It's lightweight, corrosion-resistant and one of the most biocompatible metals available.

Each piece is finished with SkinPlating™, our two-layer coating system. gold pieces: a TiN ceramic barrier topped with pure 24K gold. For silver pieces: a CrN ceramic barrier topped with pure platinum. Both coatings are used in medical applications for their durability and biocompatibility.

The result is three layers of skin-safe material with no nickel, no cobalt and no reactive base metals. Designed for sensitive skin and metal allergies.
