“I’ve always had sensitive skin and struggled to find jewellery I could genuinely wear every day. Most pieces left my ears sore or irritated. As a doctor, I knew it wasn’t just me. Metal sensitivity is common, yet truly comfortable options in modern fashion jewellery are rare.

That search led me to titanium: skin-safe, lightweight, waterproof, and widely used in medical settings. It felt like the ideal foundation for everyday jewellery. But when I looked at the market, almost nobody was using it. Titanium is harder to work with and more expensive than traditional metals, which is why most brands avoid it.
